my friend’s bf just moved to boston from toronto and pork belly was in town this past weekend. we all went out together, our very first triple date. its amazing how life can change so much within a year. last year around this time we three girls were all at our down point of our relationships, but now we all found/re-found the person that we wanna share our lives with…. except pork belly is still so far away. life still isnt perfect yet, but we are working on it.
cafe st petersburg is really hard to find. it was pouring outside which made it even harder to find.
this restaurant isnt busy at all. very spacious and well decorated.
this russian beer is awesome. a tint of sweetness. i liked it a lot!
pate – Chicken liver, onions, eggs and a touch of cognac, served in a jellied bouillon

Fish Zakuska For Two- Salmon Caviar, Norwegian Salmon, Russian or Chopped Herring

Wild Mushroom Soup- White Russian mushrooms cooked with barley and onions Served with sour cream
this was kinda weird. i didnt really like it.

Boneless Duck Breast- Prepared in traditional spices, garnished in a sweet black currant brandy sauce and sliced apples. the duck is relatively tender and not so strong ducky taste.

Chicken Kiev- Chicken breast stuffed with herbs and butter, breaded and deep fried

Chicken Schnittzel- Breaded chicken breast cutlet cooked to perfection with a tint of white wine
this was my fave one. tender chicken, very well fried. subtle flavor without being bland.

Chilian Sea Bass- Broiled Chilian Sea Bass with lemon butter and dill
very tender

Lamb Shashlik – Marinated Lamb on skewers served with side dish
lamb wasnt so tender, but overall wasnt too bad.

the dinner was enjoyable overall. i did like the atmosphere and decorations a lot. i like how it’s not busy. it’s good for groups. great service. reasonably priced.
