went to yotsuba when i was in beijing last month, often referred as one of the best sushi restaurant in town. this was my second visit to yotsuba, ive been there once couple years ago.

reservation is required due to their small size.

we sat in a private room instead of the counter.

sushi was very well made but i was disappointed on the fish itself. they tasted like they been frozen.

altho this was my 2nd time visiting yotsuba, i dont think i will return in the future. the food was well made, but i dont think the quality of the ingredient was top notch. they advertise that their fish is flown in daily from tsukiji market in tokyo which i highly doubted. on top of that, the service was unprofessional and rude. i enjoyed the private room tho, it is a nice place to have a quiet conversation while sipping on some sake.

Awesome pictures!
Beautiful pictures! The sushi looks heavenly delicious, too bad the fish quality wasn’t as expected.
My goodness, that looks like the best sushi and crab, ever. Yum!
It looks really delicious – even though it sounds like it wasn’t! The pictures still make me want to eat sushi:)
Love your photography!
It’s always a difficult thing to find good sushi in my part of the world, so I rarely eat it. I think the skill is definitely evident from your photos but nothing beats having the sea just a few meters away from the restaurant for any cuisine involving sea food especially when it needs to be raw. Still, it looks beautiful as does the cosy private room!
Happy New Year!
It’s a bummer when you go to a japanese restaurant and find the fish frozen… =<
Oh My Cat! I need to go there!!
