life in boston was tough last week. i wasnt in the mood doing anything; all i wanted was to get away and see pork belly and be next to him. i booked a last min flight saturday to baltimore cuz IAD was too expensive. i told pork belly to pick a restaurant and surprise me. he took me to pabu. pabu is one of Michael Mina’s restaurants. it is located in the inner harbor as a part of the four seasons hotel. it wasn’t my first time in baltimore, but i didn’t know baltimore wasnt all ghetto.

whisky cocktail – gogo yubari - the yamazaki 12 yr, cherry heering, o.j. carpano

soba- wasabi, nori, quail egg – love chilled soba in hot summer, nice and refreshing.

yakitori – pretty good, but pricey. ive had better with much cheaper $$

green tea sorbet – lemon grass, melon, pineapple
white chocolate bar- crunchy arare, whiskey

i freaking loved the honey panna cotta- amazing creamy texture and refreshing flavor. yuzu tastes kinda like grapefruit.

i really enjoyed our meal here. the sushi was awesome. very fresh and well made. i would skip the yakitori next time or at least order less of it and get more sushi. friendly service but was on the slow side. very nice location and ambience. would def return. thank to pork belly for a great meal. he always makes good choices. i love you! <3
