we barely had any sleep due to clubbing. those red bull and vodka pretty much kept chris up all night. but chea today is the real deal. f1 qualifying ! people in montreal are pretty friendly. while chris was asking for directions:

we drove to the nearest metro station and parked our car there and took the subway to the track. montreal has one of the most efficient subway systems. the train was very fast and frequent. we barely had to wait for it.

LH got the 2nd place. after the qualifying we went around montreal. 1st we went to chinatown for some bubble tea.
chinatown in montreal is very small but surprisingly clean and neat.

the meal at kazu was amazing! wish they had good japanese places like this in boston! service was good, your typical friendly japanese service. the line wasnt that long when we got there, but it started to forming pretty long by the time we finished. price was very reasonable and they took USD.

  1. Kazu is what I believe to be current best Isakaya in Montreal, but there is another top player in town: Kyo (in Hotel Place D’Armes) . Kazu is rustic, bold, whereas Kyo offers a more refined take on isakaya fares. I am just surprised that you liked it this much since I thought Boston was better than Montreal in that regard.
