we barely had any sleep due to clubbing. those red bull and vodka pretty much kept chris up all night. but chea today is the real deal. f1 qualifying ! people in montreal are pretty friendly. while chris was asking for directions:
we drove to the nearest metro station and parked our car there and took the subway to the track. montreal has one of the most efficient subway systems. the train was very fast and frequent. we barely had to wait for it.
after we got there, chris had to pick up our tix:

on the way to the track, someone wanted to interview pork belly

the track is actually on water or surrounded by water. we had to cross a bridge
im not that into cars, but the two cars i would like are 1. evo 2. a black mercedes e-class.
taking photos with ppl i dont really know haha. i never really watched f1. not even on tv. but before the trip, i picked lewis hamilton to be my fave driver since he’s kinda cute and he dates nicole scherzinger which i can sorta relate. and plus he’s on the mercedes team which i like.

before the qualifying, the porsches were racing.

we sat pretty close to the track. yay

ok im not gonna bore you with more car pix. check out my flickr if you are interested to see more:

LH got the 2nd place. after the qualifying we went around montreal. 1st we went to chinatown for some bubble tea.
chinatown in montreal is very small but surprisingly clean and neat.

we went to this bubble tea place

pork belly and i both got matcha milk tea and i got an extra mango tapioca cup. im always so greedy.
both of them are very good. better than any bubble tea places in boston.

after chinatown i wanted to check out the cool church that we passed by the night before
a cool bentley parked there
a japanese lady was performing

looking for starbux to get some wifi

back on train to get some din din

we picked this japanese joint – kazu

i love takin pix of ppl’s face using fisheye

the ‘soft bone’ was amazing. too bad it was sold out when we tried to order more.
carpaccio. chris said ‘fuckin good’
mushroom. i said ‘fucking good’ omggggg best mushroom ive had my entire life!!!!! its perfectly soaked in this oil/sause. very soft, perfectly cooked, seasoned!!! o!m!g!
tuna and salmon with rice.
the meal at kazu was amazing! wish they had good japanese places like this in boston! service was good, your typical friendly japanese service. the line wasnt that long when we got there, but it started to forming pretty long by the time we finished. price was very reasonable and they took USD.
